1. All images, recorded materials, texts and their final usage, presentation methods and narrative framework must conform to the objectives, policies and ethical values of the Public Foundation of the Zoo and Aquarium Public Institute in Al Ain, the Government of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates.
     
  2. Animals may only be filmed and/or photographed within their normal state and range of activities, and in a way that promotes respect for wildlife, and the influencer shall be prevented from filming or recording any footage that violates animal rights or is incompatible with social or cultural values.
     
  3. All audio, video and written material must be approved by the accompanying guide of the tour. The influencer shall accept all observations and feedback from the guide and shall make all necessary modifications as instructed. The influencer is not entitled to publish any visual, audio or written material in any manner, to any channel, that has not been agreed upon.
     
  4. The influencer must review and revise all information concerning the Zoo and animals before publishing any content by agreement with the accompanying guide.
     
  5. The Institution attaches the highest priority to the health and safety of individuals and animals, therefore the following rules must be adhered to at all times:

     

    1.            The Institution reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify any agreement concerning material created by the influencer concerning the institution’s facilities, be it video, audio, written or interview with the Institution’s employees.
    2.             The influencer is only allowed to shoot exclusively within locations and during times previously agreed on with the Institution.
    3.              The influencer may not use terms, language or images (still or video) that degrade or undermine the value of the animals and wildlife within the Institution. The material is expected to promote respect for wildlife and nature.
    4.             It is strictly prohibited to enter unauthorized or previously unapproved areas. The influencer may only film and take photographs in outdoor locations. All decisions will be made through consultation with the Zoo’s Life Sciences Department representative accompanying the filming crew.
    5.             The influencer must make sure that they are accompanied by designated officials and guides at all times when they are in the proximity of animals and their enclosures by prior agreement according to the approved time and place of filming.
    6.             The influencer is responsible for taking all necessary safety measures for themselves and anyone accompanying them during the filming period.
    7.             The Institution shall not be responsible for the influencer’s safety, and shall not be responsible for any damage to his/her equipment and belongings, or any financial losses that may be incurred during filming.
       
  6. The Institution reserves the right to publish or declare its participation or cooperation with the influencer through all internal and external channels at its disposal and with any stakeholders.
     
  7. The influencer will be subject to legal accountability if the security and/or reputation of the Zoo or the brand, its employees and visitors are compromised, or if the animals are abused or mistreated in any way whatsoever.
