We are thrilled to announce the opening of the Al Ain Zoo Sand Cat Conservation Centre, one of the most advanced facilities dedicated to preserving the stunning Arabian sand cat! This extraordinary center provides a safe and natural haven for these rare and captivating creatures.

The Sand Cat Conservation Center spans 1,292 square meters. Explore indoor exhibits featuring Arabian sand cats and other desert inhabitants like Fennec foxes, jerboas, scorpions, snakes, and lizards. Enjoy close encounters in outdoor viewing areas with walkways and interactive zones. The center also includes a nature conservation area with sculptures, plants, rock formations, and locally crafted wooden structures that reflect the natural environment.

The Center's primary mission is to educate visitors about the Arabian sand cat’s behavior, threats, and the conservation efforts of Al Ain Zoo.
