Al Ain Zoo has joined the Eurasian Regional Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EARAZA) after obtaining votes from all members during the EARAZA conference hosted by the Almaty Zoo in Kazakhstan which was attended by representatives of zoos from around the world such as China, Germany, Turkey, Tajikistan, Russia and Azerbaijan, in addition to more than 35 institutions, 156 delegates and 70 members of the Association to discuss issues and challenges facing zoos in the region.
This membership is a partnership with zoos in the Central Asia region with the aim of collaborating and sharing knowledge and experience to enhance the Zoo's mission and contribute to conservation of wildlife through research and development. The membership will also utilize the collaboration’s benefits to provide proper care for different species, protection for endangered animals, and promotion of awareness and positive behavior that support our journey towards biodiversity.
