WISDOM
In the 1990s, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan was chosen as one of the ten Arab and international figures with a prominent role in the field of political and social development. He received the appreciation of Arab Public Opinion for his unifying experience in the UAE and as a leading Arab model that can be followed in other countries.
The late Sheikh Zayed understood the importance of falconry to our cultural heritage. He also valued our natural heritage. His vision was a sustainable falcon hunt, where cultural practices and wildlife preservation were balanced. Thus in 1983, he passed a law against hunting with guns and launched the “Sheikh Zayed Falcon Release Programme”.
RESPECT
Emirati women have become, thanks to the late Sheikh Zayed’s wise vision, a basic partner for men in the development process. They are no longer captive to their traditional role. New wider horizons were opened to become an influential member of the society, while keeping her unique identity not dazzled by the scales of civilization, but dealt with modernity realism with great understanding.
Sustainability

The late Sheikh Zayed showed great interest in planting and agriculture which is directly linked to his love to conserve the environment. His vision focused on providing a balance between the UAE’s development and environment to preserve the country for the future generations
HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

The late Sheikh Zayed’s first priority was to bring water to his people. He generously gifted land and farming equipment to his citizens so they might develop the land. Understanding the vital role of education in the development of nations, he funded the first modern school in the emirate, named Al Nahyaniah which opened in 1959, imagining a better future for his people.
