1. All photos/videos / context (etc.) must not be in contradiction to the aims & objectives, policies & ethics of ZAPIA or the Abu Dhabi / UAE Government.
     

  2. Animals have to be represented in a way that enhances respect for the animal, ideally naturally / in character, The Company shall not shoot any scenes projecting disrespect to animals or social perspectives, culture, and values.
     

  3. All written and visual content is subject to final approval by Marketing & Corporate Communications Department. The company must adapt their content according to the feedback provided and should not publish any content without the final written approval from ZAPIA.
     

  4. Usage is for the stated campaign and duration only – any subsequent use to be discussed and agreed.
     

  5. In all circumstances the welfare and safety of the people and the animal are ZAPIA’s priorities. As such the following provisions stand:
     

    1. ZAPIA reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify any agreed photoshoots/ interviews/ others.

    2. The Company shall only be permitted to shoot in the specified areas and for the specified time periods as approved by ZAPIA.
    3. No entry is allowed inside an exhibit, images are to be taken from an external position only, all decisions will be made by Life Science Department representative on hand.
    4. All crew members are to be accompanied by ZAPIA staff in or around the animals, exhibits, and around the zoo. Attendance must be agreed on and confirmed via email.
    5. The Company and crew shall take all necessary precautions and measures with regard to general safety during shooting.
    6. ZAPIA shall not be liable to the crew injuries, or Company costs and losses during the photoshoots/ interviews/ others in ZAPIA premises.
       

  6. ZAPIA reserves the right to publicize its involvement with the organization in its own external, internal and stakeholder communications.
     

  7.  ZAPIA has the right to decide and apply a penalty of AED 200,000 if the other party did not comply with any of the terms of this agreement, should they not correct course within 15 days of notifying them.
     

  8.  Normal Zoo admission conditions apply.
